Bird Watching

Perhaps you are fascinated with our fine feathered friends! Some prime birding areas in the Estes area are Lake Estes, the Cub Lake trail and Upper Beaver Meadows.  Rocky Mountain National Park offers guided birding tours.  Contact their headquarters for details.  There is also an excellent book by Scott Roederer on Birds of Rocky Mountain National Park to help you identify these stunning creatures.
